Àlvar Mestres at Poliform Seoul — Flagship Opening 2026

Sculptural ceramics by Àlvar Mestres were selected for the new Poliform Seoul flagship showroom, inaugurated on October 15, 2026, in South Korea.

Located in the Nonhyeon–Hakdong design district of Gangnam, the 1,000-square-metre showroom was developed in collaboration with Poliform's long-standing partner, DI’OME.

Across two floors, contemporary furniture, architectural elements and a refined palette of warm, neutral materials create an environment where design and sculpture coexist naturally.

Hand-built in Barcelona using a slab-building technique, the ceramic works introduce organic forms and tactile surfaces, establishing a quiet contrast with the precision of contemporary interiors.

Their presence in this new international setting reflects the ongoing dialogue between sculptural ceramics, architecture and contemporary living.
